Not sure why it burned

This was a 1st time use and it smelled like perm products and I don’t process my hair. It made my scalp burn somewhat and I had to rewash my hair. I like the defieel black castor oil shampoo/conditioner and have had no issues. Maybe the product is for a different kind of hair.
